Bought Crypto on Coinbase? How to Start Trading Meme Coins on Banana Gun Next

If you bought SOL on Coinbase, you can start trading meme coins on Banana Gun by creating a bot wallet, sending your SOL to its public key on the Solana network, and pasting a token’s contract address into the chat.

GMGN’s Solana 24h trending list, pulled 2 Nov 2026 at 13:44 UTC, shows 16 of the top 20 tokens launched on Pump.fun. Peace Coin, created at 03:58 UTC that same day, showed +10,873% within hours of launch, at a $300,352 market cap.

The Telegram trading bot lists 26M+ lifetime trades and 1.5M+ lifetime users (bananagun.io, read 3 Nov 2026).

Why move SOL from Coinbase into a Telegram trading bot?

Banana Gun’s docs say you fund the bot by sending SOL “from Phantom or an exchange”. Coinbase is that exchange for you, and the transfer is the only step that touches it.

Once the SOL is in the bot wallet, you get copy trading with Buy Fixed, Spending Limit and Max Market Cap.

You also get sell orders that run on their own. Pasting a token’s contract address into the chat opens its buy menu, and every token on that GMGN list has one.

Banana Gun’s guide on how to buy Solana meme coins goes deeper on the buying side, and our list of what a meme coin trading bot needs shows what to check before you pick one.

Step one: buy SOL on Coinbase, then create the bot wallet

Buy your SOL on Coinbase first; the bot wallet is where it goes next. Copy trading is documented on Solana and Robinhood Chain, and this guide uses Solana.

Open the bot in Telegram, go to “Wallet Setup” and tap “Create Wallet”. Name it. The private key is shown once, so save it before you close the screen; Banana Gun cannot show it again.

Already use Phantom or Solflare? “Import Wallet” takes that private key instead. Then type /wallets to see the public key you will send to.

How do you send it without losing it?

Send on the Solana network, and paste the public key from /wallets exactly. A wrong network or a wrong address loses the funds.

Copy the public key from the /wallets reply instead of typing it, and compare the first and last few characters on both screens before you confirm.

Start with a small test send, then confirm it arrived before you move the rest. The docs ask for at least 0.1 SOL, about $9 at $91.56 per SOL (CoinGecko, 2 Nov 2026 20:55 UTC). Keep 0.05 SOL, about $4.60, for fees.

Your first buy by contract address

Find a token on DexScreener or Birdeye, copy its contract address, or paste a pump.fun link, and drop it into the chat. The buy menu opens with Market Cap, Liquidity and Tax on screen. Tax is the buy tax at the time of pasting.

Tap a “Buy” button with a preset or custom SOL amount and wait for “Buy Success”. The position then shows under /positions.

On a buy you place yourself, a pre-trade sell check runs by default and blocks tokens you cannot sell. Anti-MEV is on by default too. Fees are 1% per trade on Solana.

Your first copy trade with a Spending Limit

Type /copytrade, tap “New Copy Trade” and paste a wallet address. A Fomo app trader called frank booked +$258,719 in 30 days (GMGN, 27 Oct 2026); a wallet like that is what you paste here.

Set Buy Fixed so every copied buy is the same size, set a Spending Limit for the total you are fine losing, and set Max Market Cap to skip tokens above your ceiling. Then toggle “Active”.

Copied buys land after the wallet’s own buy.

The 30-day figure for frank fell from +$863,301 on 8 Oct to +$258,719 on 27 Oct, so check the record again before you add more to that wallet. Set the “Active” time too, so the copy trade stops by itself.

Read the buy menu’s Market Cap before you tap Buy. Peace Coin sat at $300,352 on 2 Nov while GMGN’s peak market cap field showed $511,484, so the Market Cap line tells you where you are entering.

The exit you set once

Paste the contract, tap “Setup Sell Limit Order”, set “Tokens” and “Active”, then choose Take Profit, Stop Loss or Trailing Stop Loss. One order per position. Our guide to meme coin limit orders on Banana Gun walks through each order type.

Take Profit at +300% is 4x. On a 0.5 SOL buy, about $46, selling 80% returns about 1.6 SOL, about $146, before fees and slippage. A target set too high never triggers, so pick a number you would be happy to see; when to sell a meme coin covers that choice in more detail.

The same GMGN list shows the downside: two tokens named AODF fell 99.99% in 24 hours on 2 Nov 2026. A Spending Limit on a copy trade and a small first buy keep a miss like that to a lesson, not your run.

Stop losing money to slow fills.

Your SOL is one transfer away from a Banana Gun wallet that can copy a trader you pick, buy by contract address and exit on a rule you set, all from a Telegram chat.

Open Banana Gun on Telegram

Your SOL is already bought. One transfer turns it into a wallet that can copy, buy and exit while you sleep.
